Participant designations

A designation describes a relationship or disclosure — for example that someone supports FRISA, is directly affected, has contributed to the record, or has an interest in a specific paper. Designations describe relationships, not worth.

Filtering is reader-side, opt-in, and defaults to showing everyone. Objections from anyone are always visible and always answered. Designations never decide whether a paper advances — a named advisory board does — and never change comment ranking. A designation shapes only a reader's own optional view; it never reduces anyone's ability to be heard and never gates a paper.

Has formally joined or donated to support FRISA. Indicates support, not authority over content.

stakeholder / community memberself-described

Self-describes as directly affected — pilots, students, residents near training airports. Self-described; not verified.

contributorearned

Has contributed substantive research, review, or comments on the record. Earned automatically from activity; not a quality judgment.

involved_partyassigned · paper-scoped

Author, collaborator, or advisor-adjacent to a specific paper. A disclosure of interest (conflict of interest), not a mark of standing.

Public roster

Everyone who currently holds a designation. Email and tokens are never shown.

Audit log

An append-only, public record of every assignment, revocation, and self-claim — with the reason and actor — matching the same accountability standard as the advisory board. Nothing here is ever edited or deleted.
